Refund Policy - the basics
BrotherCut Refund & Cancellation Policy (via Fresha)
1. Booking & Online Payments
All appointments booked through Fresha are subject to Fresha’s Booking Terms and Conditions. While Fresha facilitates the booking and processes payments, the contract for the service is directly between you and BrotherCut.

Payment Discharge: If you pay for your service through the Fresha app (Online Payments), your debt to the barber is considered discharged once the transaction is successful.

Card Security: We may use Fresha’s "No-show Protection," which requires you to provide card details at the time of booking to secure your slot.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
To avoid charges, please manage your booking via the Fresha app or by contacting us directly.

Cancellation Window: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

Late Cancellation Fees: If you cancel within the 24-hour window, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee (up to 100% of the service value) via your saved card on Fresha.

No-Show Policy: Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in a "No-Show" status. Under our policy, the full cost of the service may be charged to your card.
3. Refunds for Services
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a remedy if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.

Fresha Refunds: If a refund is agreed upon for a service paid via Fresha, we will initiate the refund through the Fresha platform.

Processing Time: Once issued, card refunds via Fresha typically take 3 to 5 working days to appear in your account.

Cash Payments: If you paid in-store via cash, any agreed refund will be handled directly in-store.
4. Product Returns

Faulty Goods: You have a legal right to a full refund within 30 days for faulty products purchased at the shop.

Hygiene Policy: We cannot accept returns on opened hair products, waxes, or oils unless they are defective.
